Candied walnuts

These candied walnuts are so simple and truly come together in 10 minutes. I mix all the ingredients on my sheet pan to avoid extra dishes (who wants extra dishes?? not me!) and then throw the walnuts in the oven.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups walnuts roughly chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Mix all ingredients on a baking sheet.
  • Bake walnuts for 5-10 minutes. Watch closely and take out when they start to darken.
  • Let cool.
  • Store in airtight container in a cool place.
  • Add to salads, oatmeal, or enjoy handfuls!
